Color
is an integral part of our environment. The effect and power of
the colors we choose to surround
ourselves with goes beyond decoration. It is more than a backdrop
for furnishings. Color can improve the quality of life our work
spaces have to offer.
Bright white full spectrum light is used to in the treatment of neo
natal jaundice, cancers, SAD (seasonal affective disorder), anorexia,
bulimia nervosa, insomnia, jet lag, alcohol and drug dependency and
to reduce overall levels of medication. Blue light was later found
to be more effective and less hazardous than full-spectrum light.
The blue light found to be successful in the treatment of neonatal
jaundice has been shown to be effective in the treatment of Rheumatoid
Arthritis.
